Mathematical Grammar School wins Dabar: Success in Computer Competition
On Saturday, December 16, the students of the Mathematical High School showed their exceptional expertise in IT and computational thinking at the Dabar competition in Kruševac. These achievements, without a doubt, illustrate the deep commitment and talent of these students and their professors.
The students traveled to Kruševac in cooperation with the Computer High School and won as many as four awards at this prestigious competition. In the category for 7th and 8th grade, Vanja Miladinović won the first prize, while Aleksa Ćorluk took the second. In the category for 1st and 2nd grade, Kosta Tintor was the proud winner of the first prize, while Jovan Milošević deservedly won the third.
This competition is just one in a series of successes for the students of the Mathematical Gymnasium. We are pleased with the fact that our talented students participated in the national competition, where they stood side by side with 194 students from all over Serbia. They had the honor of being a part of this international competition, organized by the "IT-UPS" Association, which is the official workbook of the "Dabar" organization.
We are proud of our delegation, which consisted of 15 students, and their success is reflected in their fighting performance and participation in the national competition. Great praise goes to professors Jelena Hadži-Purić, Stanka Matković, Snežana Jelić, Ivana Jovanović-Mastilović, Miloš Arsić, Marina Đurišić, Mina Šekularac and Olga Mitrinović, who enabled them to express their talent and continue the tradition of success at the Mathematical Grammar School.
