Tara National Park
The Tara National Park is one of the 5 Serbian national parks and it is one of the most attractive national parks. As there are numerous touristic attractions, it is considered as one of the most beautiful Serbian destinations. Tara is famous by wild nature beauties and viewpoints.
Tara belongs to the inner chain of the Dinaric Alps, it is 50 km long and 22 km wide, with the highest peak of 1591 meters called Kozji rid.
Tara national park is attractive choice both in summer and winter season, it is ecologically preserved environment, including great Drina river and various famous lakes in this region.

Famous House on the Drina River
The famous house on the Drina river is authentic symbol of city of Bajina Basta, that is located on the right coast of the Drina river, in the bottom of the Tara mountain.
It is believed that the house was built it 1968, that the group of young boys created the place for relaxation from the wooden plates and later in 1969 the house was built on the rock.
Viewpoints that will take your breath away
The most popular and most visited is the Banjska Rock viewpoint that has a spectacular view on the artificial Perucac lake.
However, there are other viewpoints that are also worth visiting. Biljeska Rock has also view on the Lake Perucac. Another viewpoint is located at Kaludjerske Bare and it is known as Crnjeskovo.
Oslusa viewpoint is equipped with benches and tables for picnic and is located only 8 km from Mitrovac. Sjenic viewpoint is the highest and it gives breath-taking view on Derventa gorge, Lake Perucac and Tara mountain.
Perucac Lake
Perucac Lake is artificial lake on the Drina River, right on the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. The lake is created in 1966 by damming the flow on the Drina river and construction of the hydroelectric power plant.
Perucac is the paradise for the fishing and relaxing. The lake is full of the wooden floating houses where people are enjoying the summer days with their friends or family.
