Sergei Polunin Amazing Gala Event 2022

Sergei Polunin foundation organised this year a fund raising gala event at the Serbain National Theatre in Belgrade. The funds were raised for young and talented ballet dancers from Serbia. The Belgrade crowd enjoyed the fenomenal 0performance on September 28th on the Main Stage of Serbain National Theatre. The performance even featured one of the most renowned ballet dancers, Sergei Polunin.

Just before the event had started, the Foundation Director, Zrnka Mišković addressed the audience and thanked the National Theater for being such good hosts and for helping the great young artists feel right at home. Mrs. Miskovic stated that Sergei Polunin foundation aims to support Serbian ballet dancers and has so far supported three Serbian students who continued their education in Stuttgart, Mannheim and Hamburg.

As the programme continued the audince could enjoy numerous ballet numbers  including the ones form "Nutcracker" and the "Dictionary of the Khazars" preformed by the National Theatre soloists.

The event was made even more grand in the end, when the greatest ballet star today, Sergei Polunin  danced magnificently to the famous composition "Bolero" by Maurice Ravel and choreographed by Ross Freddie Ray after which he recieved several minute long standing ovation.

After his performance, Sergei Polunin was joined on stage by other participants. Click for Serbia is proud to announce that one of th participants was Djordje Kalenic, a young and talented ballet dancer that was supported by Click for Serbia before.
