VIBE Festival 2026: Kragujevac’s Industrial Heart Beats to a New Rhythm

This July, the historic industrial landscape of Kragujevac will once again become a meeting place for music, art and contemporary urban culture. From 23 to 25 July 2026, the authentic surroundings of Knežev Arsenal will host the 13th edition of VIBE Festival, bringing three nights of concerts, electronic sound, creativity and shared energy to the heart of central Serbia.

More Than a Music Festival

VIBE is not simply a place where audiences come to listen to their favourite performers. It is a complete festival experience built around music, artistic expression and community.

This year’s programme will unfold across three stages - MAIN Stage, MILINA Stage and BANGER Stage - each offering its own atmosphere and musical identity. Visitors can expect a diverse combination of hip-hop, alternative music, electropop and contemporary electronic sounds.

The lineup brings together some of the most recognisable names from the regional scene, including Bad Copy, Buč Kesidi, Edo Maajka, Nipplepeople, Bigru i Paja Kratak, Stereo Banana, Vizelj, Estray, Kosmos Trip and Smola, alongside numerous DJs who will keep the festival moving late into the night.

Where Industrial Heritage Meets Creativity

One of the elements that makes VIBE particularly memorable is its location.

Knežev Arsenal is one of Serbia’s most impressive examples of industrial heritage. Its red-brick buildings, old factory structures, tall chimneys and spacious courtyards create a setting unlike that of a traditional concert venue. During the festival, this historic complex is transformed through carefully designed scenography, lighting and visual installations into a vibrant contemporary cultural space.

The contrast between the preserved industrial architecture and modern music gives VIBE its distinctive visual identity. Every stage, installation and gathering area becomes part of an environment in which the history of Kragujevac meets the creativity of a new generation.

A Festival Created by Young People

VIBE Festival was launched in 2013 as a youth initiative intended to enrich Kragujevac’s cultural scene and provide more space for alternative cultural movements, contemporary music, creative industries and new forms of artistic expression.

Over the years, it has grown into an open and interactive platform connecting musicians, artists, designers, organisations and audiences. Its development shows how a local idea can gradually become an important cultural event while remaining closely connected to the city in which it was created.

VIBE continues to encourage creativity and collaboration, demonstrating that culture can be accessible, modern and deeply rooted in local identity.

Music, Art and a Place to Connect

Beyond its musical programme, the festival includes a large pop-up zone designed to connect different parts of the venue. Visitors will find artistic installations, interactive activities, areas for relaxation, food and additional creative content throughout the complex.

These spaces give festivalgoers an opportunity to take a break between performances, discover new ideas and spend time with people who share similar interests. This combination of music, visual culture and social interaction is what allows VIBE to offer something more than an ordinary night of concerts.

Discovering a Different Side of Kragujevac

Kragujevac played an important role in the development of modern Serbia, particularly in the fields of industry, education and culture. Today, its historical heritage and growing urban scene provide a natural setting for a festival that connects the city’s past with contemporary creative expression.

For visitors arriving from other parts of Serbia or the region, VIBE is also an invitation to discover Kragujevac from a different perspective - through music, architecture, art and the energy of its young community.

Whether you come for the live performances, electronic sets, visual installations or the unique atmosphere of Knežev Arsenal, VIBE Festival offers an opportunity to experience a youthful, creative and open side of Serbia.

This summer, follow the sound to Kragujevac. The stages are ready, the Arsenal is waiting - all that remains is to bring your good vibe.
