Unique Summer Camp for children in Serbia

When History Becomes the Most Exciting Game

Summer vacation is the perfect time for children to explore, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories. Parents, on the other hand, are looking for activities that combine fun, education, and a safe environment. That's exactly why the Children's Camp at Viminacium is the ideal choice for young adventurers.

Located at one of Serbia's most important archaeological sites, the camp offers children a unique opportunity to discover the world of the ancient Romans through games, workshops, and interactive activities. Instead of learning history only from textbooks, they experience it firsthand through exploration, discussion, and hands-on learning.

Why Viminacium?

Viminacium was once one of the largest Roman cities and military camps in the Balkans. Today, it is a remarkable cultural heritage site that attracts thousands of tourists, students, and history enthusiasts every year.

For children, this place is especially fascinating because every building, excavation site, and artifact tells a story. During guided tours, young explorers learn how the Romans lived, what they ate, how they built roads, baths, and temples, and what everyday life, military service, and trade looked like nearly two thousand years ago.

Learning through direct experience leaves a much stronger impression than traditional classroom lessons, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a lasting appreciation for history.
